A Very Good Question.

Former editor of the Jordanian Weekly Shihan, asks a great question:
"Who offends Islam more? A foreigner who endeavours to draw the prophet as described by his followers in the world, or a Muslim armed with an explosive belt who commits suicide in a wedding party in Amman or anywhere else."
This question asked by (yes this is his real name) Jihad al-Momani, is part of an editorial that he wrote for his former paper when he re-printed 3 of the 12 Danish cartoons from last September.
He did say that that he decided to run the cartoons to
"display to the public the extent of the Danish offence" and condemn it in the strongest terms.
"But their publication is not meant in any way to promote such blasphemy," said Mr al-Momani.

He continues the common sense with this:
At the same time, an editorial in Shihan entitled "Muslims of the world, be reasonable" questions what sparks the Muslim uproar now, months after the cartoons were first published in September.
It points out that Jyllands-Posten has apologised for offending Muslims but for some reason, nobody in the Muslim world wants to hear the apology.

All of the above quotes come from of all places The Guardian, that usually insane British Lefty rag.

Now what I would love to see, but the mindless drones at State won't let it happen, is for the President to bring this guy over to the US and give him some sort of medal for having the balls to tell other Muslims the truth that they are too afraid to listen to.

Coincidence? I Think Not

Isn't interesting that the Muslim street is erupting now over some cartoons depicting the Profit as a bomb wearing fool, when these same cartoons have been out in the world since September of 2005?

Could it have anything to do with OBL's December video Of The Year and his Nostra-dumb-ass impersonation, telling us how "something was going to happen within the month". HHHMMM!!!

Twelve days of State sponsored rock throwing and the burning of Danish Newspapers. And let us not forget the requisite Muslim footstomp on the burning paper, just waiting for the requisite Muslin human candle.

We all know that nothing involving crowds happens in Syria without Assad telling someone to get the crowd out. So since nothing was going to happen inside of the OBL time frame,
Release the Crowds.

VDH Gets Me Thinking, Again.

Today over at NRO, The Smartest Man In America", has this piece about the so called intellegencia's craven dhimitude.

The best part:

All this lunacy is understood only in a larger surreal landscape. Tibet is swallowed by China. Much of Greek Cyprus is gobbled up by Turkish forces. Germany is 10-percent smaller today than in 1945. Yet only in the Middle East is there even a term "occupied land," one that derived from the military defeat of an aggressive power.
Over a half-million Jews were forcibly cleansed from Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo, and other Arab cities after the 1967 war; but only on the West Bank are there still refugees who lost their homes. Over a million people were butchered in Rwanda; thousands die each month in Darfur. The world snoozes. Yet less than 60 are killed in a running battle in Jenin, and suddenly the 1.5 million lost in Stalingrad and Leningrad are evoked as the moral objects of comparison, as the globe is lectured about "Jeningrad."

Here he slams the way people like Lip-biting Bill and his friends in the LSM, just give in to the crap that the Islamofascist sell as examples of "hate crimes".

Instead, Danish officials are threatened, boycotts organized, ambassadors recalled and, yes, Bill Clinton steps forward to offer another lip-biting apology while garnering lecture fees in the oil-rich Gulf, in the manner of his mea culpa last year to the Iranian mullacracy. There is now a pattern to Clintonian apologies they almost always occur overseas and on someone else's subsidy.

Read it all.

Yet this is what I've been thinking about since reading this.

How is this mindless bowing to perceived Islamist pain, any different then the crap that those on the right take daily from the Kos Kids and their supporters in the Dimocrap Party.
There is a great big call for people to apologize for the Danish Cartoons, but Pat Oliphant draws this POS and the media yawns. I mean look at the way this sensitive liberal portrays Dr. Condoleezza Rice, a strong and intelligent Black woman.

This is supposed to be humor.

F' Them!

They Still Don't Get It

This last Monday while the Senator from Virginia, err.. Rhode Island was telling the nation that he would keep playing his favorite role as thorn in the side of President Bush, this news blurb was posted on the web page of the National Republican Senatorial Incumbent Protection Committee web page.

By NRSC Communications

“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, representing some 3 million businesses, formally endorsed Sen. Lincoln Chafee's reelection yesterday, with promises of money and ‘people on the ground' to help the incumbent Republican beat back well-financed primary and general election challengers.

Now this was just the opening paragraph, but I think you get the point.

These guys have no mention in their website of the missing Linc's vote against Justice Alito, and if you go to read the comments that have been postregardinging this piece they appear to have been removed.

I wonder why?
