Democrats are calling for Karl Rove to step down after his comments before a Republican Fund Raising Dinner. He said that "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war. Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), took to the Senate floor and denounced Rove's statements as "a cheap and divisive political applause line" and an "outrageous attempt to divide the nation."
Wait, how come Kerry is upset? Rove didn't say that Demorats wanted to prepare indictments ans offer therapy he said Liberals wanted to do those things. Kerry spent most of 2004 getting upset anytime someone dared to call him a Liberal.
The same goes for Hillary, the great "moderate" Senator from New York via Washington, Arkansas, and Chicago). She rants that Rove's comment "politicizes and turns into a partisan game something as serious as the attack on our nation on Sept. 11, and something as deadly as the conflict in which we are currently engaged."
Now let's play a little game. When were these quotes uttered? And by whom?
(1)"I am convinced that military action will not prevent further acts of international terrorism against the United States. However, difficult this vote may be, some of us must urge the use of restraint."
(2)"I'm not so sure that President Bush, members of his administration or the military have thought this action out completely or fully examined America's cause,"
(3)"I don't think the solution to violence is more violence," it's a very patriotic thing to be an activist."
Answers:
(1) October 2001. Berkeley's congresswoman, Barbara Lee on the floor of the US House of Representatives while casting the only vote against the use of military power to defeat the terrorists.
(2) October 2001. Congressman James McDermott from Washington State.
(3) September 29, 2001. 19-year-old Rachel Ettling at the great big anti-war rally that was held in Washington DC, and sponsored by the usual suspects, a group that I used to belong to.
At some point we have to stand-up and say shut-up. The media is all over Rove like white on rice, but when Dick Durbin compared US soldiers to Nazis the sound of the crickets was deafening.
Memo to Karl Rove:
Stand up and tell them all where to get off!
In an infinite universe, even the impossible is possible.
These are the incohearent and badly spelled ramblings of one jimmy the leg, semi-professional crank, and one or more of his friends.
Here will be found musings on politics, music, baseball, and whatever else is bothering our feeble little minds.
Enjoy.
If you like it tell your friends, if you don't, keep your opinions to yourself

Property Is Theft Says SCOTUS
The US Supreme Court has decreed from on high that The Government is MORE IMPORTANT than you.
KELO et al. v. CITY OF NEW LONDON et al. Was decided by the usual suspects:
Stevens, J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which Kennedy, Souter, Ginsburg, and Breyer, JJ., joined. Kennedy, J., filed a concurring opinion.
The problem becomes greater with each horrid decision.
The Snobocracy makes decisions that affect all of us, but they know better, so what they say is right.
If a city feels that a giant Privately owned shopping mall is good for the city (and the friends of the city government) then by G-d, they can take the land from citizens who refuse to sell their own property!
All hail the State Giver of freedom and protector of the little guy! (sarcasm mode off)
