The bitter taste of defeatism is taking over even at places as previously stalwart as NRO and Fox News.
We are so focused on arbitrary dates for the new Iraqi Constitution, that our own history is being forgotten.
Fact:
It took 143 years from the Articles of Confederation being presented to the Continental Congress until women received the right to vote thanks to the 19 Amendment to The Constitution.
143 years!!!
And people are whining about a couple of arbitrary dates being missed in the process of creating a "fair" Constitution in a nation that has known nothing but autocratic rule since the beginning of time.
Let's take a deep breath and stop the whining.
