Despite the rhetoric about democracy and power to the people, it's about this is now true.
We don't live in a democracy, or at least, we don't live in a society that gives the word democracy any justice.
We live in a society where the minority few have all the wealth and power, and the majority have nothing or very little.
The only way we can fight against this system is mass politicisation. Only when the masses of the people, the working class rank and file joes of the world, start to become intelligent political human beings, will democracy become a powerful card in the society, and those privlidges elites scared of us.
Only when the masses ignore the crap on mainstream news, and start to actually think about the politics on a practical and fundamental level will we see the true democratic spirit of humanity unleashed.
Politicians have always been scared of a protest movement, but they are terrified of a protest movement led by the masses (self-organisation). They're less scared about a movement led by a leader.
