I guess it was too much to ask that Sen Lincoln Chaffe (RINO -Virginia - ops RI!) would have supported the President against the Deomcranks in 2 fights in a row.
Now is the time for the Whitehouse and the RNC to call Rhode Island Republicans and ask who they should be supporting in the upcoming election. Here's my answer:
Republican Mayor of the City of Cranston Steve Laffey.
This would be the Pat Toomey / Arlen Spector race all over again, let us just hope that the RNC sides with the RIGHT candidate this time.
This just my not so humble opinion.
